[ Solid-State Battery: Narada Power Signs 2.8GWh Order for World's Largest Semi-Solid-State Battery ESS Project ] On August 11, 2025, the official account of Narada Power announced that it had successfully signed an order for a standalone ESS project with a total capacity of 2.8GWh. The project would entirely use 314Ah semi-solid-state ESS batteries developed independently by Narada. This was the world's largest semi-solid-state battery ESS project to date and also marked the first commercial application of solid-state batteries in a gigawatt-hour scale ESS project globally. The order comprised three standalone ESS projects, including one in Shenzhen with a capacity of 1.2GWh and two in Shanwei, each with a capacity of 800MWh.
